Syntax

SYNTAX:
Is the structure of sentences, those sentences have to follow an specific order to make sense
  • Order words make sense need to… this doesn’t make sense!
  • Words need order to make sense…. Ahh! Much better!
STRUCTURE OF A SENTENCE:

  1. Noun: is a word to name a person, animal, place or thing.
  2. Verb: a word that expresses and action, occurrence, or state of being.
  3. Pronoun: is a word used to replace the noun
  4. Adjective: is a describing word.
  5. Adverb: is a word used to modify the meaning of a verb.
  6. Preposition: is a word used to connect nouns or between nouns and pronouns.
  7. Conjunction: is a word that joins two or more words, phrases or clauses
  8. Interjection: is a word that shows emotion. An exclamation
